A Matthew 25 Church

Here at Vision you will hear us say, "We're a Matthew 25 church", but what does that really mean? In Matthew 25:31-46, God explains how important it is that we take care of each other and love one another especially those that are under resourced. We take that quite seriously and roll up our sleeves to do what we can to make a difference in that way. Some ways that we do that are our Backpack Event in July where we hand out over 500 backpacks filled with supplies to community kids, offer free sports physicals, hair cuts and a clothing bank. We also close our doors for Hope Fest here in Tucson and volunteer all weekend to serve the homeless and under privileged in our community. We have a mission team that heads to Ethiopia to build homes and churches that we've raised money for. We host Produce on Wheels (POW) to raise money to fund a portion of the Backpack Event. We have a team of people that heads down to an orphanage in Mexico to take food and supplies and fix up their building. We believe God's direction to serve others and to love others in this way is ultimately what is best for us as well. Welcome to a Matthew 25 church!
